Chances are that you already have the USA on your travel bucket list.
But this is a huge expanse of land and at some point or another, you’re going to have to start whittling down the states that you want to visit the most. You should seriously consider prioritizing California, otherwise referred to as The Golden State.
It really does have a whole lot to offer! Here are just a few things that might draw you to this western state!
The Weather
The Golden State gets its name for a reason – California is generally home to sunny weather year round. You can expect to be welcomed by a Mediterranean climate, boasting warm dry summers where the temperature generally averages twenty-one degrees Celsius or about 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
Things to Do
Tachi Palace Casino
Let’s start small, as you settle in for your first couple of nights, you might want to find a space where you can sit back, relax, and simply be entertained. The Tachi Palace Casino could prove to be the perfect venue to provide you with this. If you book a hotel near Tachi Palace Casino upon your arrival in California, you can drop your luggage off, shower, dress and stroll down the road to enjoy sl, ts, poker and bingo, or even relax in the spa area.
Visit the Golden Gate Bridge
Once you’ve settled into your surroundings, you’re probably going to visit some of the big, world-renowned sites. The Golden Gate Bridge should probably be top of your list. This easily recognizable suspension bridge connects San Francisco Bay to Marin County over the Pacific Ocean. It is generally considered to be the most photographed bridge in the world.
Head to Disneyland
California is renowned for its amusement parks. While certain parks, such as Seaworld, should be avoided due to their mistreatment of animals that belong in the wild, Disneyland provides a happy alternative. Disneyland California is composed of eight different “lands”, all filled with rides, costumed characters, and various shows. This really is a magical treat for kids, but it can be just as fun for adults too!
Yosemite National Park
If you’re looking to incorporate more natural landscapes into your trip, you should schedule a visit to Yosemite National Park. Located in California’s Sierra Nevada mountains, this national park is renowned for its huge sequoia trees, Bridalveil Fall, and the granite cliffs of El Capitan. If you want to go all out and are feeling particularly adventurous, you can even camp in the Yosemite National Park overnight. Make a reservation well in advance.
These are just a few different things that California has to offer you as a traveler. As you can see, the state could prove the perfect getaway, as long as you plan correctly and well in advance!
